Megan's Baptism

Yesterday was a milestone for us--Mike baptized Megan, our youngest daughter. It's hard to believe they are all growing up so fast. Sometimes I feel like they will be around forever, and then on days like yesterday, I realize they are going to be gone so soon. I regret not enjoying them more while they were young and just playing with them. It makes me melancholy. But on a happier note, we had a very nice day at Megan's baptism. She looked so pretty all in white (wearing the linen dress her sisters wore on their baptism days). She was a little bit worried about how it would all happen, but Mike reassured her that she really didn't need to worry about doing anything, and he showed her how they would stand, etc. Once we were there and she was changed into her jumpsuit, she seemed just fine. She did everything just like a pro. I got a bit teary seeing her down in the font, and I am so proud and happy she wants to be obedient. I hope each one of my girls will stay true to their covenants, and have a desire to live God's plan of happiness. I know in my life I am more at peace when my life is in line with gospel principles.

I hope the next photo I take of one of my daughters in a white dress will be in front of temple with a worthy young man, but I don't even want to think about that yet :)
